STOP EMBRACING INFERIORITY
in light of the recent results from early action and early decision college applications, i can only conclude that women are truly inferior, and always will be until they can throw off that unfair preference they gain simply from being female. if they are truly equal, why do they need preference?
those who fully utilize this sexism are the ones that tarnish the feminist cause, the motive of equality, for as long as they take advantage of inequality, females will never be equal. they spit upon feminism while hiding behind the guise of "equal opportunity" and other trite nonsense, for where in the affirmative action process is there any equality?
a woman who needs affirmative action is INFERIOR. take action; do not step aside and allow injustice to continue. the time to accept inferiority is over. to the false feminists in the world, quit bringing scorn upon half of humankind and step forward to claim what females deserve, what those before you fought and struggled to earn: EQUALITY, NOT PREFERENCE. there is no equality in preference.

"No day goes by without a new crime. . ."
"Let's take a look at Iraq. Since the commencement of the US military presence in Iraq, hundreds of thousands of Iraqis have been killed, maimed or displaced. Terrorism in Iraq has grown exponentially. With the presence of the US military in Iraq, nothing has been done to rebuild the ruins, to restore the infrastructure or to alleviate poverty. The US Government used the pretext of the existence of weapons of mass destruction in Iraq, but later it became clear that that was just a lie and a deception. . ."
"The US administration's illegal and immoral behavior is not even confined to outside its borders. You are witnessing daily that under the pretext of "the war on terror," civil liberties in the United States are being increasingly curtailed. Even the privacy of individuals is fast losing its meaning. Judicial due process and fundamental rights are trampled upon. Private phones are tapped, suspects are arbitrarily arrested, sometimes beaten in the streets, or even shot to death. . ."
"The legitimacy, power and influence of a government do not emanate from its arsenals of tanks, fighter aircrafts, missiles or nuclear weapons. Legitimacy and influence reside in sound logic, quest for justice and compassion and empathy for all humanity. The global position of the United States is in all probability weakened because the administration has continued to resort to force, to conceal the truth, and to mislead the American people about its policies and practices. . ."
"Is there not a better approach to governance?"
"Is it not possible to put wealth and power in the service of peace, stability, prosperity and the happiness of all peoples through a commitment to justice and respect for the rights of all nations, instead of aggression and war?"
"We all condemn terrorism, because its victims are the innocent."
"But, can terrorism be contained and eradicated through war, destruction and the killing of hundreds of thousands of innocents?"
"If that were possible, then why has the problem not been resolved?"
"The sad experience of invading Iraq is before us all."
"It is possible to govern based on an approach that is distinctly different from one of coercion, force and injustice."
"It is possible to sincerely serve and promote common human values, and honesty and compassion."
"It is possible to provide welfare and prosperity without tension, threats, imposition or war."

a land of robots
"LOS ANGELES (Reuters) - Student leaders at a California college have touched off a furor by banning the Pledge of Allegiance at their meetings, saying they see no reason to publicly swear loyalty to God and the U.S. government. . . .
Ball said the ban largely came about because the trustees didn't want to publicly vow loyalty to the American government before their meetings. 'Loyalty ought to be something the government earns through performance, not through reciting a pledge,' he said." (http://news.yahoo.com/s/nm/20061110/us_nm/life_pledge_dc)
all through elementary school, i simply recited the damned thing without ever once deciphering the meaning hidden behind the excessive verbage. not until i was in 6th grade did i actually bother to sit down and decipher the stupid thing, and it was horrifying. at the mere suggestion of my teachers, i had thousands of times vowed my loyalty and obediance to a scrap of cloth supposedly protected by a tyrannical deity that used fear to impose oppression. how many little children are told that the stupid recitation is meaningless? and even fewer are ever told the meaning of the words they are saying. how many will ever bother to dissect for themselves that sentence they have spoken so often that it has become habit? and the few who are still able to think after religion and patriotism have been branded in their minds as morality, why would they forge a path against the majority? as long an individual operates with the majority, he or she is certain of support; one who acts against the many always encounters opposition, threatened failure, the fear of being one and alone. . . this is why slavery was allowed to exist for so long, the reason women were forced to endure millenia of servitude to men, the reason there is affirmative action in the world today, and institution that forces intelligent, capable students to think themselves inferior and dependent on affirmative action to get into college. . . injustices are never corrected until they become so horrific that the masses can no longer ignore them, but in that time, how many will have to suffer?
i have not pledged allegiance to any scrap of cloth since that day in 6th grade, and i beseech you, you who is at this moment reading this, search for the message conveyed by that pledge you so stubbornly recite! find what it claims, and then decide for yourself whether or not you wish to blindly promise yourself, by a few words someone taught you to memorize, whether that is what you intend by what you say. don't pledge your "allegiance" to a nation or flag because your kindergarten teacher taught you to. if you find it as i have found it, cease to recite that foolish line of words! each line holds its own power. strip this pledge of the power that it wields upon unknowing elementary students. stop saying the pledge, and encourage others to leave roboticism, and to become thinking people!

forced pseudo-democracy at the point of a gun
by the time of the american revolutionary war, the colonies had a long-standing history of political autonomy. furthermore, the puritans had fled the anglican church, while other colonies had been started to flee the strict puritan church. as a result, the colonies were able to establish a stable, balanced government not too far weighted by religion.
now consider iraq: a land so deeply entrenched in religion that the very political parties are identified by their religion. what results can democracy in such a land possibly have? the political party with the largest population will place a religious leader in power, yet the defeated parties are large enough, strong enough, and fervent enough not to be dominated by another religion. Inevitably, they will revolt to oppose the established government; inevitably, there will be civil conflict, if not war, unless measures are taken to prevent uprisings. and the only way to prevent uprisings would be to outlaw assemblies, supress opposing religious leaders, and attempt to prevent underground organizations by abolishing opposing religions and views.
in short, the banning of fundamental individual rights: the freedoms of speech, assembly, religion, and most importantly, opposition to an unjust government.
consider now, how such a system would be enforced. would a zealous religious individual simply consent to his religion and culture being abolished, except at gunpoint or under threats?
so must such a "democracy" be maintained by terror and fear?
is this the "noble" goal of establishing the so-called "democracy" is iraq?

why is it that human society, at this advanced stage, must still resolve political issues by pouring money and resources into shooting down others, when children are hungry and people are poor?

meaningless
never pretend that the soldiers who die every day are fighting for a "flag," or even a "country." they fight for the people that the flag or country represents, for a flag is a symbol of a country, and a country is merely a group of people united by certain philosophies and ideas. the soldier defends the people of his country and what the people believe. fighting for a "flag" is fighting for a meaningless symbol: a flag by itself is merely a worthless scrap of cloth, yes, utterly worthless, not at all worth fighting over, let alone dying for. what gives the flag meaning is the country that it flies for, and what gives the country meaning is its people. men and women do not serve a "country," they serve the people of a country and uphold the country's beliefs.
so the worst traitors to a "country" are those that tear down what the country stands for from the inside. those that hide under the guise of "patriotism," suspending or destroying principles fundamental to the nation from its founding, all under the name of "wartime powers" or "emergency situations." in a country founded upon freedom and justice, take away free speech and fair trials and the country has nothing left. in their claimed "defense" of the country, the worst traitor undermines everything his country represents, leaving the country and its flag empty, worthy only to be spit upon and trampled.
for people do not live to serve their country, a country exists to serve its people.
